Kayla is Mac’s twin sister who has a real passion of her own - figure skating. Dynamic, determined, funny and optimistic, she is also vulnerable and when the going gets tough she seeks solace on the ice. With her own life and dreams superseded by her brother’s she must work out how to adjust to her new reality in the UK and how to find renewed fulfillment, on and off the rink. Sometimes though, she can get angry and throw a tantrum, but overall she is a good person.
Kaylas parents tried to get her to find a new skating partner because Kayla wants to still figure skate, but they couldn’t find anyone so they focused on her twin brother Mac. Thankfully though, Kayla meets Sky and they become a great match, until Kayla catches Mac and Sky making out and assumes she only became her partner to get with her brother, as other girls did at their old home in Canada.
